Unable to go admire the high-altitude terraced fields, I had to content myself with looking at the lowland plots instead.
A rice-growing area with beautiful fields near the end of the planting season, vast in the early morning sun. Such an incredibly peaceful sight, even though traffic was rushing back and forth all around where I stood.
Recalling Typhoon Yagi two years ago, this field also managed to escape, experiencing negligible flooding while on the other side of the road, the water rose above the tips of the rice stalks.
